City Acting Performance has been designed as a follow on from City Acting Intermediate. The classes run weekly for 10 weeks, 7-9pm. The registrations are currently opened for: * Venue: Goodge street (RADA), WC1 - every Thursday from May 3rd Fees : £245 (£225 concession) Course details This ten week course is focused upon working on a chosen script. With the teacher as director and students as actors, we will explore the world of the play, the characters, and relationships within it, as well as looking at the langage of the script and understanding the play in its theatrical framework. Along with rehearsal of scenes from the play, there will be a intensive focus on other acting skills such as ensemble acting, staging and storytelling, physicality, characterisation, text; culminating in a basic closed performance run of the scenes in week 10.
The drama course is spread over 10 weekly sessions of 2 hours each. We keep group sizes small (maximum 16) in order for the facilitator to give you a lot of individual feedback to encourage an intimate, friendly, and fun atmosphere in which you can learn and grow. Each course is based on a different play, the next one is Anton Chekhov's Seagull.
