Jennifer Kidd

Jennifer trained as an actress at RADA after studying History at Cambridge University.  She has had great pleasure working as an actress on varied theatre and film projects, both classical and contemporary, in Britain, Europe, and America.  In London, Jennifer has performed at Shakespeare's Globe and with the internationally-acclaimed Cheek by Jowl.

Jennifer also initiates her own projects, such as The Only Girl in the World at The Arcola Theatre (Best Off West End Production 2008 - Time Out), and works with various theatre companies, creating and developing original work.  She is currently working with Insite Performance towards the UK premiere of a stunning Russian classic, Larissa and the Merchants.

Jennifer is passionate about teaching and constantly looking for new ways to feed her experience from the rehearsal room back into her workshops.  She has several years of experience as a workshop leader and has led drama-based workshops across London on behalf of RADA and Shakespeare’s Globe, as well as developing and running courses for City Acting.  She has taught in several prestigious U.S. universities such as Vassar and  Wellesley, as well as coaching a wide range of individual students, and hosting corporate workshops for private institutions such as The Dorchester.

 

Charlie Walker-Wise

Charlie is a professional actor, director, trainer and teacher.  Charlie trained as an actor at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and has worked extensively in film, television and theatre.

He has been running workshops for several years both for individuals and for the business world. 

His work includes West End theatre, Television and Film.  Having worked in some of the UK’s most prestigious theatres Charlie has recently returned from a directing a production of Twelfth Night at the Ludlow Shakespeare festival.  He has also worked in theatre around the  UK and in the US, including Manchester’s Royal Exchange, the Oxford Playhouse, the Exeter Northcott and theatres in Chicago, Utah, Indiana and North Carolina.

Charlie is currently working with RADA, delivering actors’ skills to the business world.

 

Roses Urquhart

Roses Urquhart is an actress, writer and director and works in theatre, film, radio, circus and cabaret. She trained at RADA and trained previously in dance theatre at the Laban centre and in circus with Le Cirque Agathe

Roses writes and directs The Night Kitchen Cabaret, a cult London theatre series telling surreal, compelling stories using theatre, circus, music and dance. Her first film, Circularity Thinking, brings hula-hooping to the boardroom and is currently showing at film festivals. Acting credits include Nicholas Nickleby for Chichester Festival Theatre, Private Lives for Bath Theatre Royal and Gabriel at the Arcola. Roses also performs in a cabaret double-act around the country.

Roses works as a presentation coach in the business sector and has taught workshops and courses for City Acting for the last two years.

Russell Bolam

Russell trained as a director at Middlesex University and GITIS Academy of Theatre Arts, Moscow.

His theatre credits as director include the critical acclaimed The Road to Mecca (Arcola Theatre), The Roman Bath (Arcola Theatre), Captain Oates' Left Sock (Finborough Theatre), Tiny Bones (Theatre 503), Three More Sleepless Nights (Tristan Bates Theatre) and Fourplay (Tristan Bates Theatre). He has been assistant director for The Royal Shakespeare Company, Old Vic, Bristol Old Vic, and Nottingham Playhouse.

Russell teaches improvisation at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, is a visiting director of Shakespeare at RWCMD and visiting practitioner at Kent University.

 

Leandra Ashton

Leandra trained at RADA and studied Spanish and Italian at Cambridge University. She combines her love of languages and theatre in Flying Cloud Theatre which is currently developing her first play, NAPOLI with West Yorkshire Playhouse and Turtle Key Arts.

Leandra has worked extensively as an actress across the UK and abroad, recently returning from a year's tour of the USA, playing Rosalind in As You Like It for Aquila Theatre, New York. Other theatre credits include roles for the National Theatre, The Belgrade, Sheffield Crucible, The Arcola and Southwark Playhouse. She has worked for the BBC and ITV, including guest leads in Holby City, the Bill and Doctors.

Alongside her acting and playwriting, Leandra has over 10 years experience as a workshop leader and drama teacher. She's worked with individuals and groups around the world including the British Army, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, primary and secondary schools, drama students and models.

Olly Pengelly

Olly graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in 2005.

His theatre credits include Nikolas in One For The Road (BAC), Riccardo in The Representative (Finnborough Theatre), Wiven in Sleeping Beauty (Mercury Theatre), Ian in A Stab In The Dark (Osip Productions), The Gentleman in Clown Café (Graduate Theatre Company) and Lotario in Cardenio (Aporia Theatre Company) and, most recently, Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (The Lord Chamberlain’s Men). Oliver has also appeared in numerous productions for the RADA Graduate Company. His film credits include Broadside (Docema Productions)

Olly has been many years experience as an acting teacher and spent a year in Australia where he ran an acting course for non-actors. He works with children in  South London, teaches the Youth Access workshops at RADA, has been a guest tutor for the West Glamorgan Youth Theatre Company and has recently started working for Bigfoot Theatre Arts as a drama facilitator. 

 

Susannah Wise

Susannah trained at LAMDA and has worked extensively in film, television and theatre. 

Her credits in the West End include 'Festen', 'When Harry Met Sally', 'Three Sisters', 'Rabbit' and 'Life After George'. She has also worked several times at the National and Royal Court theatre as well as The Manchester Royal Exchange, Chichester and the Sheffield Crucible. 

Her television credits range from the ITV series 'The Time Of Your Life', the BBC series 'In A Land Of Plenty', period drama 'The Tennant of Wildfell Hall' and several comedy series such as 'Peepshow' and 'The IT Crowd'.

She has just appeared in Caryl Churchill's controversial new play 'Seven Jewish Children' at the Royal Court and can soon be seen in the new ITV series 'Law and Order', the two-part film for television 'U Be Dead' and the new BBC4 comedy 'Freddi'.
